About me
Hi, I’m Rosa de Freitas, an MSc Human-Computer Interaction graduate with experience in data analysis. I’m driven by curiosity about what users do, why they do it, and how technology can better support them.
From my academic studies, I gained a strong foundation in user-centered research with experience in a range of quantitative and qualitative methods. Alongside this, I bring nearly four years of experience as a Data Analyst, turning data into actionable insights.
In my bachelor’s thesis, I explored digital nudging to promote healthier choices in food delivery apps. For my master’s thesis at the Utrecht-BCI Lab (UMC Utrecht), I researched how brain-computer interfaces can restore communication for people with severe paralysis, an experience that strengthened my motivation to create technology with real-world impact.
I’m motivated to research technology that genuinly helps people by improving usability and supporting better decisions. I believe human-centered design and usability research are the key to developing solutions that are both effective and meaningful.
